My main areas of research are traffic scheduling, QoS and flow prioritization, network traffic characterization, and effects of traffic shaping. I am particularly interested in protocols and architectures for broadband access networks, with main focus on Ethernet Passive Optical Networks (EPONs). Recent project: FQSE — a highly-scalable, cousin-fair dynamic bandwidth allocation algorithm for distributed hierarchical systems.
